The “Cyprus University of Technology Student Welfare» is a separate legal entity established under the Law on Societies and Foundations (Law 57/1972) and governed by the Law on Association and Foundations and other Related Matters Law of 2019 (Law 104(I)/2017). 

According to its charter, the Student Welfare Association of the Cyprus University of Technology aims to provide financial and other forms of assistance that support the well-being of the University’s students. This mission is fulfilled through various means, including the provision of grants, awards, allowances, and student loans. The Association’s resources come from donations, contributions, bequests, fundraising activities (subject to approval by the competent authority), and income generated from events, seminars, and other activities.
