Theodoros is a social anthropologist and Lecturer in the Department of Communication and Internet Studies at Cyprus University of Technology, where he directs the Ethnographic Research Lab. He also serves as President of the Cyprus Association of Social Anthropologists. His research spans everyday citizenship, contested urban space, migration, critical media and technology studies, and the social implications of AI, particularly bias, knowledge production, and relationality as anthropological subjects of inquiry. He has conducted ethnographic fieldwork in Limassol, the Greek Aegean islands of Lesbos and Samos, and along the Greek-Albanian border. His monograph, Tactical Citizenships: Encounters with Everyday State in the Republic of Cyprus (Berghahn Books, 2025), was awarded the Peter Loizos Prize. His work has been published in academic journals and edited volumes.
