Teacher Training

The Language Centre offers continuous teacher training in the areas of its staff expertise, not only to its instructors but also to other interested parties such as language teachers and instructors from public and private schools, language centres, tutoring centres.

The aim is the training in language teaching and CALL as an integral component of language learning.

Programmes include:

Language Centre Annual June In-service / Research programme, during June

Language Centres Seminars and Workshops organised during the two semesters of each academic year

In-service programme in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Pedagogical Institute, etc.).

As part of their training, CUT LC instructors also participate and organise or co-organise conferences (e.g. EuroCALL, CERCLES, IATEFL, ICLTA, WorldCALL), where they present their research papers. They also participate in research projects. All these activities aim to improve the Language Centre language programmes and also keep the instructors professionally abreast.
