Πασχαλία (Λία) Σπυρίδου
Η Λία Σπυρίδου είναι Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας και Μάρκετινγκ. Κατέχει διδακτορικό τίτλο στη Δημοσιογραφία και τα Νέα Μέσα από το Τμήμα Δημοσιογραφίας και ΜΜΕ του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, έχει κάνει μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην Επικοινωνία στο University of Westminster στο Λονδίνο και έχει πτυχίο στη Δημοσιογραφία και τα ΜΜΕ από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο. Το 2012 έλαβε μεταδιδακτορική υποτροφία αριστείας από την Επιτροπή Ερευνών του Α.Π.Θ. για την έρευνά της με θέμα τη συμμετοχική δημοσιογραφία. Διετέλεσε Λέκτορας στο Τμήμα Κοινωνικών και Πολιτικών Επιστημών του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου και έχει διδάξει στο Πανεπιστήμιο Μακεδονίας, στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο και στο Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Σύγχρονες Δημοσιογραφικές Σπουδές του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου. Το ερευνητικό της έργο επικεντρώνεται στην κριτική ανάλυση της δημοσιογραφίας και των νέων τεχνολογιών της επικοινωνίας, και τις επιδράσεις τους στην πολιτική και στη δημοκρατία εν γένει. Έχει δημοσιεύσει περισσότερες από 30 ερευνητικές εργασίες σε αναγνωρισμένα επιστημονικά περιοδικά και συλλογικούς τόμους, μεταξύ των οποίων τα περιοδικά Journalism, Journalism Studies, Digital Journalism, European Journal of Communication, International Communication Gazette. Είναι μέλος του Editorial Board του περιοδικού Digital Journalism (2020 – σήμερα). Συμμετείχε στην επιστημονική επιμέλεια για την ελληνική έκδοση του Εγχειριδίου της UNESCO με θέμα «Δημοσιογραφία, Παραπληροφόρηση & Ψευδείς Ειδήσεις» (2021). Υπήρξε ιδρυματική συντονίστρια δύο Erasmus+ προγραμμάτων (ΜΑΤΕ και MediaLab) και συνεργάστηκε ως ερευνήτρια με το πρόγραμμα H2020 RePAST. Από τον Μάρτιο του 2021 συντονίζει το ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα H2020 DEMOTEC (2021-2024) που εστιάζει στο συμμετοχικό προϋπολογισμό και στο ρόλο της δημοσιογραφίας στην προώθηση δημοκρατικών καινοτομιών.
