Course objectives
In the globalised and increasingly digitised economies of the 21st century, consumers seek not only personalised goods and services but most importantly, seek hybrid experiences which seamlessly transcend and blend the physical and digital worlds. This, combined with the fast spread of technologies like Big Data, social media, AI and X-realities and the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environmental conditions, have changed the marketplace and mandated a re-examination of marketing strategy and techniques.
The purpose of this course is to challenge traditional approaches to marketing and introduce students to the experiential marketing mix strategic framework and the principles and techniques for creating and managing interactive off and online brand experiences and a seamless phygital Customer Experience (CX).
The objectives of the course are to equip students with the knowledge of the neurobiology and psychology of customer experience and their nexus with technological innovations of the 21st century. Also to equip students with the tools for designing and delivering experiences in the phygital age, the seven pillars (7Es) of experiential marketing and the methods for managing them responsibly, effectively and efficiently. The course will provide students the skills that will enable them to plan for effective phygital marketing, while cultivating the moral and leadership attitudes needed for creating sustainable competitive advantage and managing socially responsible organisations.

Course objectives
This course provides an in-depth presentation of the fundamentals of marketing research, with a particular emphasis on quantitative techniques for analysing consumer data. It is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand how research is designed, conducted, and interpreted to support effective marketing decision-making. The course begins with the foundations of market research, covering research design, measurement, sampling, questionnaire construction, and data collection methods. Students will then explore key quantitative approaches used to uncover consumer preferences and behaviours, including survey analysis and choice modelling.
Special attention is given to conjoint analysis, a widely used technique for studying consumer decision-making and trade-offs. Students will learn how conjoint experiments are designed, how data are interpreted, and how results can be applied to real-world marketing problems such as product development and pricing. By the end of the course, students will understand the logic, process, and practical applications of marketing research and will be able to critically evaluate and apply conjoint analysis as a tool for deriving actionable insights.

This differentiates the program from all other digital marketing and marketing communications courses as it focuses on Sustainability and is designed to provide the simultaneous development of strategic thinking and soft skills through a systematic study of the major contemporary challenges (such as the global permacrisis, VUCA business environments, financial and health crises, global warming, geopolitical power shifts, social turbulence etc) and methodologies for addressing them efficiently and effectively. It goes past Corporate Social Responsibility and prepares future managers for sustainable prosperity.

This course is designed to accommodate special-interest topics that relate to the profile of the student body. It is founded on latest psychological insights related to consumer behaviour, contemporary events and/or disruptive developments in theory or practice. Students will be empowered and encouraged to assume an active role in their training, advance their self-learning competence and develop a critical stance towards current events and/or emerging theories. Prerequisites: Agile and sustainable marketing strategies; Value-based marketing.

Upon completion of the course students are expected to be able to:
- Understand how behaviour insights can be adapted to marketing practise.
- Analyse and reflect on the drivers of consumer judgements and decision-making.
- Understand behavioural interventions for steering consumer choices.
- Critically assess the ethical dimensions of steering consumer choices and decisions.
- Evaluate the implications of psychological insights beyond traditional marketing practices and towards reputation, management and policymaking.

The purpose of this course is to aid the students in designing, developing, completing and presenting their research work on a selected issue/topic in a specialised research area.
The research will be based on relevant theoretical framework and use of appropriate analytical approach.
