Organization of study

Organization of study

1. Write exam days and times

2. Prepare your to-do list - Ask yourself:

  • How well do I know the material?
  • What percentage of the grade is based on the exam grade?
  • Which course takes priority?
  • Am I done reading the material?
  • Do I have all my notes? Are they organized?
  • How much time do I have to cover all the material?
  • Break the material you will have for the exam into smaller parts
  • If you see that the material is too much, then try to decide which is the most important

3. Plan study periods from beginning to final exams for each course

  •  To avoid overwork, you can spend 50-60 minutes with a 10-minute break for repetitions and self-examination.
  • Choose a study area (see brochure)
  • Get to know your biological clock to decide the best times to study
  • Do not interfere with your usual routine and allow time for a balance of your activities

LAST MINUTE STUDY TIPS!

  • Accept the fact that you have limited time left and that you will not be able to study all the material
  • Go through your notes and jot down the ones that seem most important
  • Pay attention to definitions, lists, boxes and  bold
  • Write the things you consider most important on sticky notes and read them out loud over and over again
