Georgia Pavlou teaches Russian for Professional Purposes (Culinary Arts & Tourism Studies) at the Cyprus Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Professions of the Cyprus University of Technology. She studied on a scholarship at the Moscow State Pedagogical University, from which she obtained her Bachelor degree (with distinction) in "Russian Philology". Afterwards, she obtained a Master's Degree, also with a scholarship, in "Computer Assisted Language Learning" from the Cyprus University of Technology. In 2021 she obtained a Professional Qualification Certificate " Vocational Training Instructor - Level 5, SEP/CyQF/EQF" of the Cypriot and European Qualifications Framework from the Human Resources Development Authority (ANAD) of Cyprus. Her interests are focused on emerging technologies, 21st century skills, in modern approaches to foreign language teaching and the use of new technologies in teaching.
