 Ο Νικόλας Τσαπατσούλης είναι Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Δημόσιας Επικοινωνίας. Κατέχει διδακτορικό τίτλο από το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο (ΕΜΠ) με ειδίκευση στη Ψηφιακή Επεξεργασία και Σύνθεση Εικόνας, και έχει πτυχίο Ηλεκτρολόγου Μηχανικού.Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν την ανάκτηση πολυμεσικής πληροφορίας, την εξόρυξη δεδομένων από τον Παγκόσμιο Ιστό και τα Μέσα Κοινωνικής Δικτύωσης, τα συστήματα συστάσεων με εφαρμογή στην πολιτική (ηλεκτρονικοί σύμβουλοι ψήφου) και την κοινωνική υπολογιστική. Το ερευνητικό του έργο περιλαμβάνει περισσότερα από 160 άρθρα σε διεθνή περιοδικά, επιστημονικά βιβλία και πρακτικά διεθνών συνεδρίων. Οι ερευνητικές του εργασίες έχουν αποσπάσει περισσότερες από 4000 ετεροαναφορές (citations). Διετέλεσε γενικός υπεύθυνος (general chair) για τα διεθνή συνέδρια SMAP 2019, ΙΕΕΕ CyberSciTech 2018, Sound and Music Computing 2018, SMAP 2010, και υπεύθυνος προγράμματος διάφορα άλλα συνέδρια (PCI 2019, VLBV'01, κ.ο.κ.). Είναι μέλος της συντονιστικής επιτροπής (steering committee) του συνεδρίου SMAP και στη συμβουλευτική επιτροπή (advisory committee) του συνεδρίου ΙΕΕΕ CyberSciTech.

Έρευνα

Ο Νικόλας Τσαπατσούλης είναι Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας και Σπουδών Διαδικτύου. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν την ανάκτηση πολυμεσικής πληροφορίας, την αυτόματη επισημείωση πολυμεσικού υλικού, την εξαγωγή δεδομένων από Μέσα Κοινωνικής Δικτύωσης και τη σύνθεση και ανάλυση ψηφιακών εικονοσειρών με ανθρώπινες εκφράσεις.

Η Άννα Κ. Ζαρκάδα είναι Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια Ολοκληρωμένης Επικοινωνίας Μάρκετινγκ με ειδίκευση στις Υπηρεσίες. Έχει πτυχίο BSc (1st Class Honors) στην Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων από το ΟΠΑ, MSc στο Διεθνές Μάρκετινγκ από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Μάντσεστερ, HB, και διδακτορικό δίπλωμα στην Επιστήμη των Υπηρεσιών από το Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο του Queensland (QUT), Αυστραλία.

 Έχει διδάξει σε προπτυχιακά και μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα στα κορυφαία πανεπιστήμια της Ελλάδας (Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, Χαροκόπειο Πανεπιστήμιο, Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Αττικής, Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο) του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου (Manchester, Teesside, Salford, Cumbria, York St John, Open University), της Αυστραλίας (Queensland University of Technology, Griffith University), της Ινδίας (Amity University), της Ρωσίας (Higher School of Economics), και της Ιαπωνίας (The Foreign Service Training Institute), τόσο με παραδοσιακή όσο και με εξ αποστάσεως εκπαίδευση.

Η έρευνά της έχει παρουσιαστεί σε πάνω από 100 δημοσιεύσεις σε ακαδημαϊκά περιοδικά και διεθνή επιστημονικά συνέδρια. Οι εργασίες της έχουν τύχει διακεκριμένων διεθνών αναγνωρίσεων όπως τα βραβεία εξαιρετικού συγγραφέα και καλύτερου άρθρου από το Emerald Literati Network και βραβεία καλύτερης παρουσίασης συνεδρίου.

Είναι ενεργή σύμβουλος και εκπαιδευτής σε προγράμματα ενδοεπιχειρησιακής κατάρτισης στελεχών Ελληνικών και πολυεθνικών εταιριών, κυβερνητικών φορέων και μη κερδοσκοπικών οργανισμών σε θέματα εταιρικής κουλτούρας, μάρκετινγκ και επικοινωνίας, και αειφόρου ανάπτυξης. Ασχολείται επίσης με την προαγωγή της Μουσικής και Καλλιτεχνικής Παιδείας.

 Η Βασιλική Τρίγκα κατέχει διδακτορικό στις Κοινωνικές και Πολιτικές Επιστήμες από το Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστημιακό Ινστιτούτο της Φλωρεντίας. Από το 2007 ως το 2011 εργάστηκε ως ερευνήτρια στο Κέντρο Έρευνας για την Άμεση Δημοκρατία (Centre for Research on Direct Democracy-c2d) στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Ζυρίχης. Έχει διδάξει ως Λέκτορας στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Ζυρίχης και το Ελβετικό Ομοσπονδιακό Ινστιτούτο Τεχνολογίας στη Ζυρίχη (ETHZ). Προηγουμένως ήταν επισκέπτρια ερευνήτρια στο Laboratoire d'Anthropologie des institutions et des organisations sociales (LAIOS) στο CNRS (Παρίσι) και το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης (Τμήμα Ψυχολογίας). Από τον Αύγουστο του 2015 είναι Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας και Σπουδών Διαδικτύου στο Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα αφορούν τις εφαρμογές ΤΠΕ /Διαδικτύου και τις πολιτικές διαδικασίες. Ειδικότερα αντικείμενο έρευνάς της αποτελούν οι Ηλεκτρονικοί Σύμβουλοι Ψήφου, η οικονομική κρίση και η πολιτική στην Νότια Ευρώπη, συλλογικές ταυτότητες και κοινωνικά κινήματα καθώς και τα Ευρωπαϊκά δημοψηφίσματα. Έχει δημοσιεύσει σε διεθνή περιοδικά, μεταξύ των οποίων στο IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Southern European Society and Politics, Revista de Ciencia Politica, Journal of Southern Europe and the Balkans etc. Είναι συν-συγγραφέας του βιβλίου με τίτλο Referendums and the European Union: A Comparative Inquiry, από τον εκδοτικό οίκο Cambridge University Press το 2014. Ήταν συντονιστής στο ΤΕΠΑΚ Ερευνητικού Προγράμματος Horizon 2020: “COHESIFY: The Impact of Cohesion Policy on EU Identity” (H2020-Reflective-Society-2015/693427, 2016-2018).




 

Έρευνα

Η έρευνά της εστιάζει στο πεδίο της πολιτικής και των πολιτικών διαδικασιών όπως εξελίσσονται με τη διαμεσολάβηση των νέων τεχνολογιών επικοινωνίας και ειδικότερα τα κοινωνικά μέσα με ιδιαίτερη εξειδίκευση στην εφαρμογή των Ηλεκτρονικών Συμβούλων Ψήφου. Επιπλέον τομείς έρευνας αποτελούν: κόμματα και πολιτική στη Νότια Ευρώπη, εκλογικές εκστρατείες, κοινωνικά κινήματα και οι διαδικτυακές συλλογικές ταυτότητες καθώς και τα Ευρωπαϊκά Δημοψηφίσματα.

 Ο Ανδρέας Γρηγοριάδης είναι Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής Ηλεκτρονικού Εμπορίου και Πληροφοριακών Συστημάτων στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας και Μάρκετινγκ. Κατέχει διδακτορικό τίτλο στα Πληροφοριακά Συστήματα από το Πανεπιστήμιο του UMIST (University of Manchester, πρώην University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology) όπου επίσης πραγματοποίησε και τις μεταπτυχιακές (MPhil) και πτυχιακές (BSc) του σπουδές. Διετέλεσε μέλος ΔΕΠ στο Ευρωπαϊκό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου, το Πανεπιστήμιο του Surrey, καθώς και επισκέπτης καθηγητής στο UMIST. Επίσης, διετέλεσε μεταδιδακτορικός ερευνητής στο UMIST, University of Surrey και Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου.

 Η Δρ. Γιούλα Μελανθίου είναι Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια Μάρκετινγκ στο Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα επικεντρώνονται στην Επαυξημένη Πραγματικότητα (Augmented Reality - AR), το Μάρκετινγκ Κοινωνικών Μέσων και τη Συμπεριφορά Καταναλωτή, τομείς στους οποίους διαθέτει πλήθος δημοσιεύσεων και παρουσιάσεων. Η Δρ. Μελανθίου διαθέτει ακαδημαϊκή εμπειρία άνω των δύο δεκαετιών, κατά τη διάρκεια των οποίων κατείχε θέσεις ευθύνης, όπως Προϊσταμένη του Τμήματος Μάρκετινγκ και Διευθύντρια Διδακτορικών Σπουδών στο Πανεπιστήμιο Λευκωσίας, όπου εργάστηκε για 18 χρόνια. Πριν την ακαδημαϊκή της πορεία, εργάστηκε ως Διευθύντρια Έρευνας και Σύμβουλος Μάρκετινγκ σε πολυεθνική εταιρεία. Είναι ιδιαίτερα αφοσιωμένη στη διδασκαλία και την καθοδήγηση προπτυχιακών και διδακτορικών φοιτητών, ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει ενεργά σε πολλά Ευρωπαϊκά ερευνητικά προγράμματα.

 Ο Χρίστoς Θεμιστοκλέους ολοκλήρωσε τις σπουδές του (BSc, MSc, PhD) στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Nottingham όπου και εργάστηκε ως μεταδιδακτορικός συνεργάτης. Πριν την εργοδότησή του στο ΤΕΠΑΚ εργάστηκε ως Λέκτορας Καταναλωτικής Συμπεριφοράς στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Reading - Henley Business School. Είναι Λέκτορας Ολοκληρωμένης Επικοινωνίας Μάρκετινγκ με ερευνητικά ενδιαφέροντα την καταναλωτική ψυχολογία και συμπεριφορά σε θέματα ιδιωτικότητας με ποσοτικές μεθόδους έρευνας και, πιο πρόσφατα, την μελέτη συμπεριφοράς καταναλωτών στον τουρισμό.

Η Ερασμία Λεωνίδου είναι Λέκτορας στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας και Μάρκετινγκ. Κατέχει διδακτορικό τίτλο από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Gloucestershire με ειδίκευση στη Διαπολιτισμική Επικοινωνία, και έχει πτυχίο Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας από το Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν την Εταιρική Κοινωνική Ευθύνη, την αλληλεπίδραση μεταξύ διαχείρισης ανθρώπινου δυναμικού και μάρκετινγκ, το εσωτερικό μάρκετινγκ, τη συστηματική βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση και την διαπολιτισμική επικοινωνία.

 Η Χριστιάνα Τσαούση έχει διδακτορικό δίπλωμα στην κοινωνιολογία της κατανάλωσης από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Leicester. Η ακαδημαϊκή της πορεία περιλαμβάνει θέσεις Λέκτορα σε Μάρκετινγκ στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Bournemouth και στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Leicester, καθώς και θέσεις Επίκουρης Καθηγήτριας σε Μάρκετινγκ στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Coventry και στο Royal Holloway του Πανεπιστημίου του Λονδίνου.

 Από το 2024, είναι Λέκτορας στην Κουλτούρα του Καταναλωτή στο Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου, όπου διδάσκει μεταξύ άλλων Συμπεριφορά και Κουλτούρα του Καταναλωτή, Βασικές Αρχές Διαφήμισης και Καλές Τέχνες και Επικοινωνία. Κατέχει επίσης τη θέση της Συντονίστριας Ακαδημαϊκής Υποστήριξης στο Δίκτυο Ενίσχυσης και Ανάπτυξης της Μάθησης του Τεχνολογικού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου, όπου συμβάλλει στον σχεδιασμό και την υλοποίηση πρωτοβουλιών για την ενίσχυση της ακαδημαϊκής εμπειρίας των φοιτητών και την προώθηση καινοτόμων παιδαγωγικών προσεγγίσεων. Τέλος είναι Συντονίστρια του μεταπτυχιακού προγράμματος Experiential and Digital Marketing Communications.

 

Ερευνητικά Ενδιαφέροντα

Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα επικεντρώνονται στην καταναλωτική κουλτούρα και στον τρόπο με τον οποίο αυτή επηρεάζει τη διαμόρφωση της ταυτότητας των ατόμων. Εστιάζει στη διεπιστημονική μελέτη των διασταυρώσεων μεταξύ πολιτισμικών φαινομένων, μόδας, μέσων επικοινωνίας, σεξουαλικότητας, ταυτότητας και φύλου με την καταναλωτική συμπεριφορά. Η ερευνητική της προσέγγιση συνδυάζει μεθοδολογίες από τις πολιτισμικές σπουδές, την κοινωνιολογία της κατανάλωσης και την κριτική θεωρία.

Παράλληλα, εξετάζει τις εκφάνσεις του φεμινισμού του 4ου κύματος στη σύγχρονη κουλτούρα των μέσων ενημέρωσης, αναλύοντας τους τρόπους με τους οποίους οι φεμινιστικοί λόγοι αναπαράγονται, μετασχηματίζονται και ενσωματώνονται σε διάφορες μορφές μιντιακών αναπαραστάσεων και καταναλωτικών πρακτικών.

Κύρια Επιστημονική Ερευνήτρια (Αύγουστος 2017 – Αύγουστος 2019) σε ερευνητικό έργο με τίτλο: "Ευεξία στο Λογιστικό Επάγγελμα". Υπεύθυνη για την παρακάτω πενταμελή ερευνητική ομάδα (Πανεπιστήμιο του Leicester): Dr George Kokkinidis, Dr Kenneth Weir, Dr Urlike Marx, Mr Mark Burridge and Dr Kontantin Stoborod. Το έργο αυτό χρηματοδοτήθηκε για 18 μήνες με £106.235, από τον Φιλανθρωπικό Σύνδεσμο Ορκωτών Λογιστών (CABA) με σκοπό να διερευνήσει την προθυμία και μη-προθυμία των μελών του Ινστιτούτου Ορκωτών Λογιστών Αγγλίας και Ουαλίας (ICAEW) να χρησιμοποιήσουν υπηρεσίες ευεξίας που παρέχονται από τον CABA.

 O Γιώργος Βενιζέλος είναι Λέκτορας Πολιτικής Επικοινωνίας. Η έρευνα του συνδυάζει στοιχεία συγκριτικής πολιτικής, σύγχρονης πολιτικής θεωρίας και πολιτικής επικοινωνίας και εστιάζει σε ζητήματα όπως ο λαϊκισμός, ο αντιλαϊκισμός, η πόλωση, οι πολιτικές ταυτότητες και ο πολιτικός λόγος.

 Είναι συγγραφέας του βιβλίου Populism in Power: Discourse and Performativity in SYRIZA and Donald Trump (Routledge, 2023) και έχει δημοσιεύσει σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά όπως τα Communication Review, Critical Sociology, Political Studies, Constellations και Representation.

 Πριν αναλάβει τα καθήκοντα του στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας και Μάρκετινγκ του ΤΕΠΑΚ το 2025, υπήρξε Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellow (CO-FUND) στο Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου, Fellow in Political Polarisation στο Democracy Institute του CEU, μεταδιδακτορικός ερευνητής στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και διδάσκων στο Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου.

Κατέχει διδακτορικό στις Πολιτικές Επιστήμες και την Κοινωνιολογία από τη Σχολή Πολιτικών και Κοινωνικών Επιστημών της Scuola Normale Superiore στη Φλωρεντίας (2022), μεταπτυχιακό στις Διεθνείς Σπουδές από το Goldsmiths College, University of London (2015) και πτυχίο στις Πολιτικές Επιστήμες από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Έσσεξ (2014).

Συντονίζει την ομάδα Populism Specialist Group της Εταιρείας Πολιτικών Επιστημών (Political Studies Association) του Ηνωμένου Βασίλειου.

Η Μαρία Βουτσά ανήκει στο Ειδικό Εκπαιδευτικό Προσωπικό του Τμήματος Δημόσιας Επικοινωνίας. Είναι πτυχιούχος του Μαθηματικού Τμήματος του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης (Α.Π.Θ.), έχει μεταπτυχιακό στην Πληροφορική και Διοίκηση (Α.Π.Θ., Ελλάδα) και διδακτορικό στη Διαφήμιση και Συμπεριφορά Καταναλωτή (Α.Π.Θ., Ελλάδα). Η διδακτορική της έρευνα συγχρηματοδοτήθηκε από την Ελλάδα και την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος «Ενίσχυση του ανθρώπινου ερευνητικού δυναμικού μέσω της υλοποίησης διδακτορικής έρευνας» (MIS-5000432), που υλοποιεί το Ίδρυμα Κρατικών Υποτροφιών (ΙΚΥ). Επίσης, κατά τη διάρκεια της διδακτορικής της εργασίας συμμετείχε ως υποψήφια διδάκτορας στο ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα με τίτλο «Η συναισθηματική έκκληση στη διαφήμιση: Ο ρόλος του φύλου και της επιθυμίας για κοινωνική αποδοχή», το οποίο συγχρηματοδοτήθηκε από την Ελλάδα και την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση μέσω του Επιχειρησιακού Προγράμματος «Ανάπτυξη Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού, Εκπαίδευση και Δια Βίου Μάθηση» (2014-2020). Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζουν κυρίως στη Διαφήμιση και τη Συμπεριφορά Καταναλωτή και πιο συγκεκριμένα στα διάφορα ψυχογραφικά χαρακτηριστικά του ακροατηρίου που επιδρούν στην αποτελεσματικότητα της διαφήμισης μέσω της χρήσης φυσιολογικών μέσων μέτρησης συναισθήματος και άλλων καινοτόμων τεχνικών (όπως αυτή της οφθαλμικής ιχνηλάτησης – eye-tracker). Τέλος, έχει δημοσιεύσει εργασίες της σε συλλογικούς τόμους και ακαδημαϊκά περιοδικά μεταξύ των οποίων και τα International Journal of Internet Marketing and Advertising, Journal of Consumer Behavior και Journal of Tourism, Heritage and Services Marketing. Έχει επανειλημμένα παρουσιάσει εργασίες της σε εθνικά και διεθνή επιστημονικά συνέδρια όπως International Conference on Contemporary Marketing Issues (ICCMI), International Conference on Research in Advertising (ICORIA) και European Marketing Academy Conference (EMAC).

 Ο Νίκανδρος Ιωαννίδης κατέχει διεθνές διδακτορικό στις Πολιτικές και Κοινωνικές Επιστήμες από το Πανεπιστήμιο Pompeu Fabra, μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα στη Δημοκρατία και Συγκριτική Πολιτική από το University College London (UCL), και πτυχίο στην Επικοινωνία και Σπουδές Διαδικτύου από το Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (ΤΕΠΑΚ). Η έρευνά του επικεντρώνεται στην πολιτική επικοινωνία, την πολιτική εκπροσώπηση και τη διασύνδεση των τεχνολογιών πληροφορικής και καινοτομίας με την πολιτική. Αποφοίτησε με άριστα από το UCL και ήταν επίσης ο πρωτεύσαντας στην τελετή αποφοίτησης του ΤΕΠΑΚ το 2019. Σε αναγνώριση της εξαιρετικής του ακαδημαϊκής επίδοσης, τιμήθηκε από τον Πρόεδρο της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας και έλαβε υποτροφία αριστείας από την Καταλανική κυβέρνηση κατά τη διάρκεια των διδακτορικών του σπουδών. Έχει δημοσιεύσει άρθρα σε περιοδικά, όπως το Government and Opposition, Political Geography, Party Politics, South European Society and Politics, και The Communication Review.
